Dr. Lindsey received his Doctor of Chiropractic from the prestigious Northwestern Health Sciences University and he holds a Master’s degree in Sports Medicine. He specializes in working with patients who suffer from chronic neurological and metabolic conditions, such as Migraines, Vertigo/Dizziness, Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Neuropathy, ADHD, Hypothyroidism, Autoimmune Diseases and many other conditions. He also enjoys providing general family care and loves to see children jump up on the table for their adjustment.
Dr. Lindsey has done extensive post-doctoral training in functional blood chemistry analysis, functional endocrinology, functional immunology, and functional neurology. He has a strong interest in the relationship between the brain, emotions, and body physiology and how emotionally traumatic events have the ability to contribute to disease. He understands that you cannot treat the disease or symptom and instead must treat the person. He also understands that each person is body, mind, and spirit and in order to make lasting changes in health all three aspects must be addressed.
Dr. Lindsey utilizes a clinical, functional neurologic protocol known as Brain Based Therapy along with specific functional blood chemistry analysis and Neuro-Emotional Integration to provide patient specific care. Brain Based Therapy is a protocol developed by Dr. Fred Carrick, the country’s leading chiropractic neurologist and chiropractic’s only Neurological Fellow. The Carrick Institute offers classes internationally and helps patients around the world with severe neurological disorders.
In addition, Dr. Lindsey has studied under some of the top doctors in functional medicine including Dr. Datis Kharrazian, author of Why Do I Still Have Thyroid Symptoms When My Lab Tests Are Normal?, Dr. Andy Barlow, and currently studies with Dr. Michael Johnson, who is a board certified chiropractic neurologist, and author of the best selling alternative health book, What Do You Do When The Medications Don’t Work? He has developed a Brain Based Therapy/Neurological program for chiropractors in the United States who wish to pursue this extensive, post graduate training. Dr. Lindsey has been working closely with Dr. Johnson to ensure that the patients he treats can benefit from this amazing approach to overall health.
