Eating a high "complex" carbohydrate, low saturated fat diet for health and longevity has been shown, and perhaps even "proven," to be wrong. Minimal common sense would say to try something else...."

"Thanks for posting this video on detoxifying the body! I usually start my day each morning drinking water with a teaspoon of lemon juice more for singing preparation as I love to sing. I try to fast 3 meals a week (just vegetables or fruits-for spiritual reasons as mentioned in the Bible), but here is a drink I just tired that might be also cool... Other ways I try to detox is taking supplements I've ordered at the health store, which I take early in the morning when I know I plan to fast a meal or a day (just fasted the other day more for spiritual reasons-praying for friends in my local church doing mission work in India). A fun 'physical way" I like is doing a cardio work-out to sweat too! I read the comments prior and I also put a teaspoon of apple-cider vinegar (on my green tea) in my cup of drink once a week or whenever I'm "feeling" vulnerable to a cough (great remedy) or cold. I have yet to try this Himilayan salt bath, but I love doing a sauna at my friend's house at times during our cold winters during the winter season! Overall, I try to eat healthy and avoid any "junk" with "unhealthy ingredients"!
